The News Papers are coming

If you go to my school, be sure to check out the news paper this friday.
The creative writing kids will be handing it out in the halls, and I think there may be some interesting stuff in there. There will be a article about the apparent shitty-ness of grad council and one by me about how Mixtapes are hella awesome.

I suggest all of you to take up a voice when something pisses you off.... hell, that is why you are reading what you are reading now.
I set this silly blog up for no reason other than to yell my fury out into the vastness of the world wide web. It was by accident that people started reading it.

Otafest 2004

For those interested, there will be a Anime fest of sorts at the UofC the weekend of the 15th (Of May).
I for one will be going and I will surely take some pictures and get some autographs of people dressed as Goku.

CD review

The Flaming Lips : The Soft Bulletin

First CD review of the new updates and it's only a CD from 1999.

Well folks, I must say that the flaming lips rock. With crazy melodies and crazier giutar effects, the Lips have everything that this messed up kid needs. This CD is what I would call, REALLY Alt. Rock. Not just the normal left of centre rock you hear on the college radio station... but the Alt. Rock that kind of confuses you, and leaves you scratching your head until it is bloody and raw.

This mellow, yet poppy cd is just great to listen to... however something feels detatched about it. I think it is because the album starts off with a Re-mix, then travels on like a normal album. The original version doesn't pop-back up for 12 more songs... but I really feel that this album doesn't flow like a good album should. I'm giving the album 4/5 stars for it's catchy lyrics, tunes and feeling, but it looses a star for the detached album feel it give me.

First off, I'm moving away.
Not out of the country like my original plan was, hehe, but just to Lethbridge for University.
As of then, MSN and this silly blog will be the only way to know what is going on in my crazy life.

Also, look out for my film coming out within the next month or so titled "Death by Citric Acid".
