Monday, February 28, 2005Reading week is over, no fault of mineWith reading week over, I'm back at school and it's same as ever. I spent about 4 hours today drawing the front entrance of our library, to try and capture it's perspective. My ass still hurts from sitting on the concrete for 4 hours. Here is the picture of my tattoo for you vultures. ![]() I'm very impressed with it, and I must say that Hilary Cooper is an excellent artist, that I am very proud of. Speaking of being proud of people, I'm very proud of Ryan Mumby and Hadyn Sanchez. Those guys are really rocking in the free world, every single time I see them. Wednesday, February 23, 2005Monday, February 21, 2005Hunter S. Thompson 1937-2005The most beautiful and twisted man in journalism has left us today. Known best for his book "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", and "The Rum Diary", Hunter S. Thompson was a writer that led a generation. A great inspiration to me, my closest friends, and thousands of other drunks, stoners and speed freaks, who realized that life was about grasping and holding on to. Regardless of how fucked on acid you were. I don't feel very comfortable writing a lot about this. As it is too hard to put into words what we all felt about this man, and how he affected those who loved his writings. I suggest reading his writings over at ESPN's page 2 Here Thursday, February 17, 2005Reading week and Scarred FleshSo the official begining of reading week will be upon us shortly. I'm super pumped for the time off school, and the partying that will go dizzown. I'm staying in town for the most part, since I'm not a huge fan of missing a bunch of work on account of visiting my family and friends, when I just saw them for Xmas and I need money to eat. I however will be going down to Airdrie to get tattooed by the lovely H-Coops (Hilary Cooper), who is not only a very talented artist, but a very talented artist who now does Tattoos. So I will get a tattoo from Hilary on Sunday, then party down for John Dyck's 18th birthday in the night. This is going to be great. This is jist of what I want on my lower forearm ![]() Sunday, February 13, 2005LifebyGangsta.comI've decided to change the format of this page. No longer will I type in english, but only in Snoop talk. Lifebystereo.com Gizoogled SuccessSo the party was a success, beer was drank, dancing was done, and everyone had a good time. I was really pumped to hear that 3 of my best pals from Airdrie were coming up to party with us, which was great, because I hadn't seen them since December. Everything went well, nothing was broken and the only strange thing to happen was that someone took my matress from my room and took it into my living room. I got kind of mad because I was drinking Absinthe, and I think I got the rage from it. So, warning to everyone, Absinthe fucks you up and will probably put you into a fighting mood. Anyways, all went well and I was excited to see everyone having a good time. Props to my homies from New Media for tearing shit up. Too bad Chris didn't bring that Damned DVD. I'm buying a new cell phone so once I pick it up, I'll probably show you folks some pictures and start doing some mobile posting from the camera. Later~~ Thursday, February 10, 2005Procrastination and Pretty girl bandsSo I just wanted to talk a bit about the Tegan and Sara concert. It fucking rocked some hardcore. I was surprised on how solid they stayed throughout the entire show without a lot of sweating and drinking of water. They were so solid by the end infact, that I thought they were about to become diamonds. It's really funny, because althought they are twins, Tegan and Sara have very different stage presences. Tegan likes to be quick with her stories and make them meaningful, while Sara rambles about nothing for awhile. This makes for some funny, because Sara is a bit childish and lighthearted and Tegan is a bit of a bitch. In other news, I found out last night that I had an assignment due today that I hadn't started. Thankfully I had an hour or two between classes, and somehow I pulled it off last minute and made it look pretty good. This is becoming a problem, because I did the same thing last assignment, but got a B+. What is this wild world teaching me? I need to learn my lesson with a stiff C-, but not on this assignment. I really like this one. Here, I'll throw it up on the internet for you..... I give you "Spring" Tuesday, February 08, 2005I hear NoisesTegan and Sara is tonight. Expect pictures by noon on wednesday at the latest. If you went to see them in Calgary, try and shoot me some pictures so I can make a Tegan and Sara photogallery. Can't really post much, sorry ladies and gents... regards, They're UpTegan and Sara - Live in Lethbridge Alberta Friday, February 04, 2005Talkin' 'bout my babyHere we are. Friday, end of the work/school week. I am so happy I could cry. Anyways, the party is a deffinate go, and Tegan and Sarah is a on Tuesday. Kristy is in love and I found 20 dollars on the floor at work. It really made up for the 17.50 that I accidentally wasted that night. (Note to bar goers: If someone offers to buy you A drink, please only ask for one, and try not to buy Jagermiester when hi-balls are only 50 cents each!) Have a good weekend my groovy cats. ~Jaron W.
