Rain, Rain, Go Away

All it has been doing for the past couple of days is rain. Rain, Rain, Rain. I told myself I was going to start skateboarding again, but I can't with all the percipitation. Why is the world so cruel? All I really want to do is pop a few ollies of a couple of curbs at some empty parking lot.

Atleast my lawn is going to look bitchin' because of all the hydration!

House Keeping 101

I cleaned my bath tub today, it was rather rewarding to have a very clean tub rather than the "dirty except where I usually stand" look I had going. Now all I have to do is tidy my kitchen, the living room and my room.

I think I am going to tackle that task after work on Sunday (12-8:30) since I'll get home and want to possibly go to the bar or see "Lords of Dogtown", but 8:30 is too early. Therefore, I must kill some time cleaning and listening to Bloc Party. (Which, by the way is my favourite UK band right now). If you've got 2 bucks lying around, I suggest buying the live tracks off of iTunes that Bloc Party just released. Pretty good deal if you ask me, just like going to a concert but only 2 songs.

I won't be doing my radio show tommorow, gotta work, and didn't get enough notice schedule wise to do a prerecord. Expect me to return next Sunday.

Before my commenting system turns to Jerry Springer

I'll go ahead and make a mid-week post for now, then we'll see how the weekend gets us. I'm finally graduating from my "training" and Friday there will be a party. If you live in Lethbridge, I will invite you to this party, however, you must bring dessert. I'll try and post mid-afternoon as to not post drunk.

I think I may be getting fatter each day due to the amount of inactivity this new job causes. It sucks, since I wake up, make myself a (usually) un-healthy lunch, go to work and sit at the computers and click and talk all day. I'll have to get back on my bike for leisurely rides around the pathways here to keep my figure. Not that I had a great one to begin with, but if I get back to the point when I was in highschool, I'll die.

Some lady called in today, and I took her call as policy directed me to, however, she asked me something rather amusing. The conversation went like this:

Her:"Are you in Minnesota?"
Me: "No Ma'am, I'm in the North-west near the Montana Border (Aside: That is code for Canada)"
Her: "Wow! You're in Montana? You get people from all over the country when you call these things"

It's true, when you call a call centre, there is no way (short of asking) where your call may be routed to. This may upset a lot of people, losing jobs to foreigners and such, but I guess those are the breaks eh? (I bet you thought I had an intelligent rebuttal to why out-sourcing is bad)
