Life by Stereo is back for reals

If you haven't heard from me in awhile it's because all I do is work, write music and fight evil. It's really fun, because I haven't been so scared in my entire life. I actually went down to EB games and got Resident Evil 4, and the linked "Pure Evil" 2 pack. Including Resident Evil 0 and 1 for Gamecube. Go ahead, mock me, I love my life!

Work sucks, but is also pretty cool, who'd of thunk it?

I have no idea what is happening with my webspace, but my web provider keeps crapping out on me. If it happens one more time I'm probably going to ask for my money back, since I don't deserve this.

Anyways, Nothing has really happened since the last time we spoke. I've just been working at watching Degrassi Jr. High. Good times all around.

Birthday

Halifax is my new favourite pop-punk/Emo band. Not sure why, but I decided to check them out on the internet/Warped tour (for my Bday) and they fuckin' wailed. I saw some pretty cool punk/hardcore acts, but Halifax just wailed, it was like butter, scotch.... Butterscotch.

While previewing to make sure that link worked, I just realized that the day after the "System of a Down" and "The Mars Volta" show in Calgary, the new Coheed and Cambria CD comes out. That makes me eternally happy. Seriously, click that link and listen to the entire intro to the site. I'm so pumped.

Other than all that music shit, my birthday was pretty uneventful. We went to Smitty's, and I shotgunned a beer at 10:30 am, then finished off the 6 pack by the time I got to the front gate of Race City Speedway. Thanks to some really nice 'Peggers let me play hackey-sack with them and use their beer bong. They are now in my heart forever, and so are you.

Dear Einars,

I'm writing this in hopes that this post will find it's way to Spain.

I've watched 3 Bill Murray movies today. "Lost in Translation", "Rushmore" and "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou". Three fine movies, in reverse order of viewing, and I am very happy I made the purchase of "The Life Aquatic" today.

I really enjoyed the "The Life Aquatic" and I wish more people enjoyed it the way I did. Wes Anderson is a great director and the soundtrack, as are all Anderson movies, is amazing. The blend of new punk like "Iggy & the Stooges" and "Devo" with acoustic Portuguese covers of David Bowie songs, with actual songs from old ocean documentaries, is just great and adds to the surrealism of the whole film.

Bill Murray also hits spot on as a aging hero to an entire generation of adventurers.

Also, I'm working on fixing the template of the site so it is no longer so ugly.

Yeah, I'm bloggin' again

Lately there has not been much in terms of blogging from me. I lost pretty much everything from Lifebystereo.com's webserver, and now I am pretty much going to rebuild from scratch. All the content has been saved as you can see, but the server switched made me lose all of my graphics, while saving all my content since it is stored at blogger.com.

If you can't acess the archives, then it's because I haven't been able to upload all of the months and months of writings because the new server seems to suck. So if you notice continueing slow load pages, please e-mail me at bananatree@gmail.com

If this server is going to take stupid times to load unless you are on t1 then I'm going to give my webhost a piece of my mind, and it'll be the piece that isn't very impressed.
