The class that has been stressing me since the beginning for the school year, is pretty much over and done with. We pulled off a New Media Mixer/student showcase, and people actually came! I didn't count, but I think we had around 100 people in attendance. Everyone enjoyed the cheese and veggies, and people clapped from time to time. It's over, I feel great, I feel better than I have ever felt after an assignment. Rock and Roll!

Now that I have a camera, I am taking a fantastic amount of pictures. I will be putting them up on my Flickr, or for bigger things, linking them here.

The Weeks and Weeks

Michael Bernard rocked the Tongue N Groove, again, and fun was had by all. It is kind of nice to see a change in the people that are at shows when Mike plays. Sometimes the TnG's audiences come off as looking pretentious, rough, or rough and pretentious. Mike brings out a really fun crowd that I am always proud to be a part of. I've been busy with a few things, but I intend on posting some pictures of the show.

Speaking of pictures, I just bought a Nikon D70. It was expensive, but it is definitely worth it. Really nice lens, tons of features, full manual or auto controls. I'm in expensive camera heaven. I'll be shooting a lot with in the next few weeks, and adding more pictures to the blog, as well as updating my portfolio from time to time. I am supposed to be practicing being a real designer, so if someone has a small project that needs to be done, I can probably take care of it.

Happy Valentine's Day

I went to see the Junior Boys at Broken City on Monday, and my heart filled with so much joy that I ran out of serotonin. I became rather depressed for an entire day, and ended up watching movies all Tuesday night.

The nice thing about that is we watched a flick called Hard Candy. It was really good and starred a fine actor named Ellen Page. She played Kitty Pryde in Xmen 3, and I just figured out that she was also in the Trailer Park Boys series. Good flick, I recommend it fully.
