Weekly Blogging Doesn't Cut It

Sadly, blogging once a week just does not cut it. People tend to stop checking for new posts after a few days of being let down. I had it down to 1 or 2 days a few weeks ago, but with two jobs, radio and trying to stay in contact with old friends, I have lost my momentum.

Last night I got to hang out with some great old friends, I will toss up some pictures of the evening tomorrow or later this evening. I'm going to be working a lot next week, but I will try and make sure to blog a bit for you fine folks. This may be a rip off of another nice quote, but... "I'd rather live a great life, than blog a bad one".

Everybody's working for the weekend

Everyone I know is working their literal and figurative balls off, and I am amongst them. The only people I know who aren't working harder this summer, are people who already have full-time jobs. They just work all day and no one gives them the credit they deserve.

I finally got in to some white wine today, thanks to Martine. She bought a bottle of "Yard Dog" of the white variety, after liking the red type so much. The bottle has a picture of a small dog in a cone collar on it, and is quite tasty. We also watched "Happiness" together, and I must say that I am still impressed.

I originally saw it super late at night on Showcase, and was originally blown away by how creepy the subject matter was. However, I slowly became enthralled by the awkward camera shots, and intensely dark humor. "Welcome To The Dollhouse" was really good too, but I can relate to the characters in "Happiness" a little bit better. I guess that comes off as pretty creepy, if you've seen the movie, you will know that most of the characters aren't model citizens. I do think that all the characters exhibit an attribute or two that we can all relate to. Be it, loneliness, guilt, sexual curiosity, and so on and so forth.
