A few more things that happened this summer...

Apparently I really like taking pictures of fireworks. These ones were taken with a slower ISO so I had to compensate with a slower shutter speed, this made some very cool pictures. Please click the link and check out the rest.

The Week Is Gone, and so is Summer

Sadly, summer is all but gone... Just one more weekend, and I'm back to school. As sad as I am for the end of summer, I am very excited for school. Let's look at some pictures I took.

Feelin' lower than the TSX

I woke to find the TSX down 600 points, and was worried that I wouldn't have anything good to report when someone asked "What were you doing when the stock market crashed?". I did however eat Fruity Cheerios, which is not he abomination that I originally expected. If my grandkids ask, I'll just mention the really good Square Waves/The Void/Jasmine Jake show at the Slice tonight.

I also picked up the new Square Waves miniCD, which I can't listen to in my laptop because it is too small. I'm sure I'll use technology to get around this problem.
Function, Not Fashion or Die
I took this picture the other night and I'm rather proud of it.

Graffiti In Lethbridge

Hooligans Yonder...

I love the centre justified, I think it just adds so much to the post. Isn't it weird that this website has nothing to do with the radio show that shares it's name? I need to fix that, check out the photos!

Hey everyone, I'm back in black in Lethbridge and I am just feeling good right now. Good to sit down for awhile, sleep in my own bed. Here is another picture I uploaded.

I'm in Vancouver; Word up to my homies!

As I type, I am in "Our Town" cafe. I may not get a chance to actually blog this, as I can't find a good WiFi network :( Woe is me. I came here, because this is pretty much the only place in Vancouver that I know by name. I walked a bitch load to get here, I could have taken the bus, but being outdoors is nice; this place smells different. I assume it's because it is always raining, and plants actually get a chance to grow. What a wonderful place. Damn, no WiFi, I guess people are realizing that it is a bit foolish to let people wander anonymously on the internet. I guess I could pay Telus a bunch of money for WiFi at certain places, but I am thinking I should just go ahead and not. I think I am going to check a bookstore around the corner, try and find some kerouac, and smoke a cigarette. Word.

[Much Later] Found some dope WiFi, and a great new (to me) drink "The London Fog". Especially good with green tea and soy, yum. I did some pretty awesome wandering today. I took the bus to Stanely Park and went to the Vancouver Aquarium, which I wasted most of the day at. I took almost 200 pictures of the fish and the park and now I just need a USB cable to unload them. Damn, why didn't I think to bring one before? Oh well, I am sure I will be able to find/buy one and upload some awesome fish pictures to flickr/facebook.

While in the Vancouver Aquarium, I was wandering and I heard some music coming from some obscure corner. I was thinking to myself how much I love the song "Pacific Theme" by Broken Social Scene, and that it would be great for this undersea-esque adventure I was undertaking. Guess what band I realized it was? Yeah! Broken Social Scene. It was joyous. If you get a chance, you should really go, the fish they have are really big!

Leth gets Beat

The Grim Beat! 2
And boy did we love it. The Grim Beat (some young blokes from Calgary) came down and killed the TnG, and we had a great time. Check them out if they are near you, and check out the pictures by clicking the link.

Instead of Blogging I...

I like to make art things, and appreciate them.
Obama Stencil
Honestly, I haven't actually thought about the American elections, but I think if I had the chance, I'd probably vote for this guy. Come on, he smokes, AND he's a Democrat. How can he NOT win?

Everything is fine

I put up some really cool pictures from a road trip that I took to the mountains of B.C. I shot them with a Fujica 35mm on Ilford B&W film. Then I scanned the negatives, and the rest is history.

After shooting and printing so much digital lately, it was weird having to leave everything up to chemicals and other scientific stuff I do not understand.

I have a lot of stuff to do for various classes, so blogging is taking a back seat, even though blogging IS one of my assignments... I guess I will never become a "pro" blogger. On a much happier note, I have been in an excellent mood since Thursday and I am listening to a leaked copy of the new Arcade Fire album. I suggest buying it to everyone even if they have a leaked copy. My opinion is to give this band as much money as possible, so we can expect a few more solid albums.
