Sunday, May 13, 2007The Real SandwichesThe last post was about a sandwich when I wrote the title. That darned commercial came on and distracted me. It was a great sandwich with many interesting ingredients. It was completely vegetarian, although not vegan. Here is a video I made for school. I made everything except the first monologue, which is from the movie "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". It's a little weird, but it is now a part of something I am going to be calling "Young and Hungry". Tuesday, January 09, 2007License to IllI've been rather sick lately, making the first few days of school rather hard. It's fine though, it's given me a chance to experiment with cough and cold medicines. Speaking of experimenting, did you guys see the move Apple made? The iPhone? WOW. Internet, Mp3 player, PDA, it's all there! I'm not going to buy one due to the extreme price, and the fact that I JUST bought a new phone. However, I think the next generation of iPhone will have a few nicer features, and I will be in a better income bracket. The real coolness that I may get tricked in to buying is the AppleTV. Did anyone else see it? Streaming music and movies from your computer up in to your TV. Pretty radical in my opinion, I don't think I can afford it, or the type of TV that be best suited for such a device. Also, since I think it only really plays content encoded in specific ways, very Apple ways, if you catch my drift. I think I would prefer something that excels at streaming anytype of video I want. I guess you cannot always get what you want. Apple You can read my blog about "The Sociology of Mass Communication" at blood*like*atlantic. Should be a fun class. Labels: life, news, review, school Tuesday, January 02, 2007True AlternativeClass starts on the 4th, and it feels like time has just flown by. Classes are hopefully going to be really fun, rather than inane like last semester. More freedom to express, rather than to churn out work like mad. My top two classes will hopefully be "Sociology of Mass Communication" and "History of American Cinema". Awesomely enough, Paul is teaching the sociology class. He's pretty good at blogging, so the class should be a success. Bob Cousins, who is by far the coolest prof ever, is teaching the American Cinema class. If it goes nearly as well as the Film Studies class I took, I should be having some great times whilst learning. Enjoy! Labels: lethbridge, school |
